"The Wind in the Willows" utilized a front projected walk-in curtain, and the audience sat with a still image of the book cover for the duration of the 30 minute preshow. But when the music started, suddenly, as if by magic, illustrated wind started to slowly move the reeds in the image. Hearing the surprise of the kids in the audience react to that... that was theatre magic.
