Shadow Puppet Design by Karly Bergman
Projection & Sound Design by Colin Peterson
This was an interesting venture into realms a lot of the artistic team had not yet explored before--using shadow puppets in conjunction with projection design.  The team workshopped the piece in August for three days, discovering the perfect marriage of an age-old artform with this new and exciting technology.  Ultimately, the projections served as an enhancement to the shadow puppets, extending out the world needing to be created.  This show was front projected from the rear of the theatre with double-stacked projectors.  I used all of the surfaces, but mostly the main 'puppet stage' to show the changing of the seasons as we traveled through Peter's life.
