"Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure"  was my first 'big show' at NCT.  The concept of gears was pretty clear and easy to conceive -- being a representation of the intricate workings of Holmes' mind.  As we travelled to different locations, pieces of the machine would disappear, revealing locations behind the clockwork. The gear images were rear projected, bounced off of a mirror.
